Advanced intelligent manufacturing empower Changan Qiyuan E07 priced at more than 300,000 yuan

Relying on the advanced digital intelligence factory to empower, Changan Automobile’s "intelligent variable new car" Qiyuan E07 is expected to sell for no less than 300,000 yuan.

On the afternoon of July 19, the world’s first intelligent variable new car based on the SDA platform, Changan Qiyuan E07, was unveiled at the Changan Automobile Digital Intelligence Factory with Transformers. Changan automotive engineers led users into the six workshops of final assembly, painting, welding, stamping, die casting and battery, uncovering the hard core strength of intelligent manufacturing.

The Digital Intelligence Factory is a global 5G Digital Intelligence AI flexible super factory built by Changan Automobile together with Huawei, Unicom and other enterprises to integrate the industry’s advanced digital transformation methodology and technology.

For example, the stamping workshop is the first steel-aluminum mixing production line of Changan’s own brand, which has been fully automated and can flexibly respond to the production needs of different materials. It also deploys AI quality inspection algorithms through the cloud to greatly improve the automation and accuracy of quality inspection.

The welding workshop has a total of 185 welding stations and 471 automated robots. It uses the most advanced one-piece thermoforming technology in the industry to increase the strength of the side wall inner panel to 2-3 times that of the ordinary car side wall inner panel. Advanced technology allows Changan Qiyuan E07 high-strength steel to be used in a ratio of more than 90% of aluminum alloys. All the car bodies and even the front cover are made of all aluminum alloy, which enhances the lightweight of the vehicle while greatly improving the durability and safety of the vehicle.

The die-casting production workshop has 4 7700-ton die-casting machines, which has realized the integration of 163 parts into 2 parts. The casting time is only 110 seconds, and the die-casting process of one mold and two pieces is pioneered. Through the application of integrated die-casting technology, the weight of Changan Qiyuan E07 vehicle is reduced by 20%, while the torsional stiffness is increased by 24%, the bending stiffness is increased by 23%, and the collision energy absorption efficiency is increased by 54%.

The painting workshop innovatively introduced Changan’s first water-based environmentally friendly 3C2B process coating line, equipped with advanced gluing ISS robots and LASD robots, which further improved production efficiency and product quality. With the advanced spraying process, Changan Qiyuan E07 has a colorful 7 body colors.

The battery workshop has the fastest fully automated battery packaging production line in China, the highest level of laser welding technology in the industry, and is the largest black lamp factory in Asia. The "Golden Bell Jar" battery used by Qiyuan E07 uses military-grade basalt nano-thermal insulation material, which realizes 100% thermal suppression and ensures that the battery pack does not smoke, fire or explode.

In addition to high-quality manufacturing quality, Qiyuan E07’s advanced smart driving technology is also a highlight. Qiyuan E07 comes standard with 11 cameras, 5 millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 2 lidars, which cooperate with each other to form an excellent smart driving ability. In addition, Qiyuan E07 supports any type of small obstacle monitoring greater than 100 meters, has learning and training computing power, and automatically processes 1600 kilometers of data per day for model training.

Changan Qiyuan E07 has a central ring network architecture, which brings higher vehicle control safety redundancy. It is equipped with a dual-motor four-wheel drive system with a peak power of 440kW and a peak torque of 645Nm, and the acceleration capacity of 100 kilometers can reach the level of 4 seconds. The air suspension can achieve adjustable height of 90mm and soft and hard stepless adjustment. It adopts double-layer sound insulation glass and a large number of silent materials for quiet and comfortable driving.
